The Estate
Our grape varieties and appellations
At the estate we work with different grape varieties: Gamay, Chardonnay, Aligotés and Pinot Noir. We also have various red and white Appellations such as Chiroubles, Beaujolais village, Bourgogne, Mercurey Village, Mercurey 1er cru and Crémant.
Our Burgundy, Mercurey and Mercurey 1er crus appellations are located on clay-limestone soils, which are typical of the great wines of Burgundy. Our Gamays are located in the Beaujolais crus on the lands of Chiroubles and Villié-Morgon. The granitic soil of our parcels is typical of the great Beaujolais appellations.
Geographical location
Our estate is located in the heart of Burgundy (Mercurey, Aluze and Couches) and our cellar in the small village of Rully. We cultivate 14 hectares of vines, of which 13 hectares are located in the Côte Chalonnaise and Côte du Couchois and 1 hectare is located in the Beaujolais (Chiroubles).
